Choose this exercise if you want to learn proper bracing mechanics and build the foundation for safe, strong lifting.

Bracing and breathing teach you how to create tension through your entire core by expanding your ribs, filling your belly with air, and tightening your midsection before you lift.
It keeps your spine supported, improves your strength output, and reduces injury risk in every movement. Once you learn to brace well, every squat, hinge, push, and pull becomes stronger and safer.
